About me

I am a creative leader with over 20 years of experience in design and strategy, passionate about delivering business outcomes by connecting people with amazing digital experiences. My mission is to create beautiful and meaningful digital products and services that improve people's lives and solve real-world problems.

 

As a veteran in UX, design thinking, persona development, information architecture, product design and product management, I have led projects in a broad range of industries, from entertainment and automotive to health care and banking. I am a practitioner of human-centered design principles and a certified trainer in DISC, a behavioral assessment tool. I use Figma, Miro, Axure, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint at an expert level.

 

Recently, I was a Principal and Creative Director at Slalom Create, where I influenced not only product teams, but the business as a whole. I am a trusted partner and collaborator who shapes product vision, champions user needs, and balances business goals.

As a hybrid, I am targeting roles in the Creative Leadership, Product Management, User Experience Design and Customer Experience Strategy spaces. 

In my personal time, I like wandering the world with my wife, laughing at my golden retriever, watching my kids try to adult and serving my community.

2023 - Current

  • Brought in to design engineer 14 different process playbooks for one of the largest builder supply companies in the country.

  • Created the overall playbook experience template while leading one of two work-streams and crafted the model whereby qualitative analysis for driving content was conducted

  • Led design, iterations, testing and delivery of all playbooks from beginning to end

  • Promoted to co-lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of designers, copywriters, videographers, and creative directors resulting in the successful execution of high-impact brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and immersive experiences.

  • Collaborated with cross-functional local teams to deliver promotional videos, presentations, pitch campaigns which won over $10M of work for local markets in 2023.

  • Developed expertise in utilizing industry-leading software tools for project management enhancing overall team efficiency and productivity by ~20%.

2019 - 2022

  • Elevated to spearhead digital transformational strategy engagements for large-scale organizations; conducting discovery workshops, interviews, surveys, visualizing results and crafting end-to-end strategy roadmaps

  • Successfully collaborated with financial services client to spearhead a Connected Channel strategy, aligning Contact Center and Digital channels while advancing the company's ‘build trust first’ initiative, aimed at prioritizing client, shareholder, and team member satisfaction. Crafted a comprehensive strategy which included introducing blockchain, DApps and IPFS (Web 3.0) that transcended organizational levels, effectively communicating a progressive and futuristic vision to both internal and external stakeholders. Resulted in Customer Experience/Call Center satisfaction ratings improved by 27% over previous year.

  • Implemented a robust Digital Capabilities Framework for auto supply retail client based on assessment of the existing system's maturity level, insights from client’s internal review, stakeholder interviews and current business industry standards. Final delivery included a strategy roadmap recommendations streamlining and enhancing the client's e-commerce site and in-store Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Once implemented, client’s digital CSAT rating increased 13% upon launch.
